Good Bags?

Paper Bags. Who among us does not say, "Oh, this is a good bag!" as we cram another paper shopping bag into our collection in the pantry that is bursting at the seams. Am I right? I have never had a client who didn't have "the paper bag collection."

I'm pretty sure our affinity to paper pages is a symptom of 100-year-old scarcity culture passed on from the Great Depression era almost 100 years ago.

Your mother said it. Your grandmother said it. I am not denying it's a good bag. It's really very nice. It might have made good sense to keep it back then. Back then, they probably didn't have the opportunity to have so many good paper bags. But please, in our homes today, don't keep more than, say, 4 or 5.

There will always be another one. You need your space back. It's going to be OK to let that good bag go. I assure you, it is OK. Your bag will be OK. You will be OK.

Free yourself. Put it in the recycle bin. I know it's hard. But I give you permission.
